Responsible gambling in crash games: rules, a test and help
Crash games are deliberately fast: a round lasts a few seconds, and the cash-out button creates the feeling that the outcome depends on your reaction. This page will help you notice in time that gambling is getting out of control, and find help.
centerofeurope.com.ua is an information site: we do not accept bets or payments and do not organise gambling. The site contains affiliate links to online casinos. Age 21+.

Five rules before your first bet
- Set a budget in advance. Decide on an amount you are prepared to lose entirely, and do not top it up during the session.
- A timer. Set a reminder on your phone: short rounds quietly turn into hours.
- Auto cash-out instead of reaction. Set the multiplier before the round starts, so you are not deciding under pressure.
- No chasing losses. Do not raise your bet after a loss: independent rounds do not "owe" you a win.
- A clear head. Do not play when tired, upset or after drinking alcohol.
A quick self-test
Answer honestly. If you answered "yes" to at least two questions, it is worth taking a break and talking to a specialist.
- Do you play for longer or for larger sums than you planned?
- Have you borrowed money or taken it from savings meant for other needs in order to keep playing?
- Have you had to hide your gambling from your family?
- Do you get irritated when you cannot play?
- Do you go back to the game to win back a loss?
Control tools in casinos
Licensed organisers in Ukraine must provide players with self-control tools. Look for them in your personal account settings:
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Deposit limit | Caps the amount you can deposit per day, week or month |
| Session limit | Reminds you how long you have been playing or ends the session |
| Time-out | Temporarily blocks access to your account |
| Self-exclusion | Bars you from gambling for an extended period |
Self-exclusion through the state
The state agency PlayCity accepts self-exclusion applications for a period of 6 months to 3 years. A submitted application cannot be withdrawn. The application form, tests and help contacts are collected on the "Fighting gambling addiction" page.
Where to get help
- the Ministry of Health hotline: 0 800 505 201;
- a family doctor or psychologist — you can go without a referral;
- Lifeline Ukraine: 7333 — if you have thoughts of suicide;
- 112 — in case of immediate danger.
If someone close to you gambles
Do not take on their debts and do not give them money "for the last time". Talk about specific facts rather than the person's character, and suggest seeing a specialist together. You need support too: the player's family can also call the hotline.
